"Ghosts of Slaves" displays a similar confluence of influences, cleverly weaving together familiar yet disparate elements into an incredibly unique composition. It opens with a simple piano melody and a skipping clap and kick pattern. However, as it progresses an insistent piano-riff that is layered underneath these original elements gives the track a sense of urgency which is balanced by ethereal Detroit synths that appeal to the "Ghosts" of the title. The sudden introduction of a driving and hypnotic drum-synth lends the track a further stratum of contrast.

All the tracks are great but Stepper is the standout for me! pounding syncopated kicks, rolling handdrums and playful sample work, dancefloor destroyer. Jack G.
