Having brought his storied Subject Detroit to a close after 25 years, DJ Bone presents FURTHER, the new label from the Detroit techno icon now based in Amsterdam.

FURTHER will launch with two EPs dropping on the same day. FR-01, ‘We Ain’t Like Them’ by Glasgow talent Yeti Mind Tricks, will be released simultaneously with FR-02, DJ Bone’s ‘The Portal’. Both drop on Friday 27th October 2023, the week after Bone hosts the latest edition of his annual Homeless Homies ADE fundraiser at RADION Amsterdam on Saturday 21st October.

The Portal EP will provide huge excitement for fans eager to hear his first material of this new era. With a harder edge than what was found on his recent album, the four tracks here see Bone adding new textures and techniques to his sonic arsenal, while being no less able to find transcendent moments in the midst of the intensity.

DJ Bone says: “The Portal EP steps into new territory for me, and marks the exciting launch of this endeavor of pushing things further than I ever have before.”

As with Subject Detroit, FURTHER will be operated as a non-profit entity, with all label profits directed to Homeless Homies.
